Hjelmeland

Our next accommodation we had booked in Hjelmeland, in a 100 year old house. This has its downsides: doorposts are low and my boyfriend kept bumping his head. But it was also very special to stay in this house, with a booklet of information about the person who had built it and the family that had lived there.

After a short walk to explore the area, we read in the guest book that people had loved the hike to Ritlandskrateret, so we decided to go there the next day.
