July 27, Torehytten – Stavali
No more swimming in the Hardangervidda lakes! Today was the first day we needed our raingear for longer than five minutes. Because of the rain we took less breaks and arrived in Stavali relatively early.
Stavali is another one of those ‘mountain hotels’, with hot showers, even a hot tub, and a restaurant. It has 60 beds and when we were there it was almost full.
Along the way we saw the landscape changing: the bushes were a little bit higher than before, and waterfalls started to appear. There would be more of that the next day, on the way to Kinsarvik.
