Wow! This is definitely the most scenic stage of the WHW.
Incredible.
The first part is easy, the terrain is flat and the views are wonderful. Then you go up the Devil’s Staircase, which is a pretty steep path but doable by just walking, no need to use your hands or anything. When we were resting at the top, there came a hail shower, so we decided to walk on. From there it’s an easy path again, gradually going down. We couldn’t stop taking pictures here, especially after the hail stopped and the sun came out.
And then upon arrival, this turned out to be the view from the hotel:
